Pairings is a special place - one-of-a-kind - owned by people who are passionate about great food and beverages. This isn't the story about a chain of restaurants. Rather, it's a story about people who love great food, great wine and beer and a casual way of dining.
Pairings came from one goal: to create a casual food and wine market that pairs freshly-made food and the perfect beverage - exactly the kind of place we love to visit ourselves. We were inspired by travel, watching people in Italy or France enjoying their food in a way that really suited them. Sometimes alone, sometimes in a group, but always enjoying every bite and every delicious sip. It's all about food paired with the right beverage - perfectly complementing each other.
That idea of "pairing" still drives us today as we search for a wonderful cheese to pair with a newly-discovered Chardonnay, the right bite of chocolate with a perfect red ... and on it goes. We're always exploring new options, discovering new vineyards and breweries and developing new recipes.
We encourage you to enjoy Pairings in a way that suits you best. Some of our customers call ahead and we have a meal ready for them to take home and enjoy in their own place. Some of our customers love coming in for a relaxing casual meal alone or with friends, family and coworkers. Some people love our classes where they, too, can discover something new. And some people love us for the private dining experience we provide in the Tasting Room.
